Nash Taylor was a former inmate of Walford Men's Prison.
Nash In his early 20's, Nash was an apprentice carpenter on the outside before he lost his apprenticeship and turned to car theft. Now serving time at Walford Prison, Nash is part of the construction crew brought in by Governor Joan Ferguson to construct the prison's new garden during the garden project.
Handsome, cheeky, and warm, Nash is behind bars more for his immaturity than his criminal streak. On the outside he has a daughter named Mia, however he no longer sees her after being dumped by her mother when he was sent to prison.
Events of Wentworth[]
During the project to restore the garden Nash helps lead the crew that builds the garden at Wentworth. He and Doreen Anderson begin a flirtatious relationship and end up having sex in the garden shed with the help of Franky. When the Pink Dragon drugs are discovered, Governor Ferguson destroys the garden and cancels the construction partnership with Walford Prison.
Doreen and Nash kiss in the visitors centre
Nash and Doreen see each other in the visitors centre and he ask how she is, Doreen says that she is feeling huge and she jokes that they reckon the docs got it wrong and she thinks she might be having three. Nash tells Doreen that he finally finished painting the baby room and it looks great all it needs is her touch. Nash tells her that in 12 months she can apply for parole and the time should fly by
Doreen gives birth and he comes and visits his son, Joshua. On his second visit, Nash brings toys for Joshua. Ferguson plants drugs in the toys and frames him. While Vera is checking the toys, the drugs are found and he is sent back to prison.
In season 4, Nash is now free and his charges are dropped and visits Doreen for a conjugal visit.
Doreen becomes worried when he seems very close with his ex, their relationship becomes strained.
In season 5, Doreen is finally paroled Doreen worries Nash won't be there with their son, but soon Nash appears with Joshua and give her a warm welcome.
