Natasha 'Tasha' Goodwin is a former inmate of Wentworth Correctional Centre.

Tasha before her arrest is from Cape Leveque, where she also served time in the local prison as an inmate.

Tasha is sent to Wentworth for seven years after committing theft and assault.

Tasha is unfortunately targeted by Juice because of Joan who sends Tasha over the edge. Tasha is transferred to the psych unit after a suicide attempt.

Time at Wentworth[]

She makes her first appearance in the fifth episode of season 4. After she arrives, she is immediately targeted by Joan Ferguson and used as a lure for Lucy Gambaro and the ‘Boys’. Lucy and her crew try to rape her in the showers but she pushes the panic button (even though she had been warned not to do it by peer worker Doreen Anderson), causing disappointment between the prisoners. Inmate Maxine Conway will therefore give her a warning by nearly closing the ironing press over her hands.

In the following episode, Tasha is once again confronted by the ‘Boys’ in the showers, where Bea Smith cuts her hair as a punishment, in order to prevent further and heavier revenges from the other inmates.

Tasha is later approached by screw Jake Stewart who tries to make her confess the name of her assaulter, but in vain. In the meanwhile, every inmate keeps considering her a snitch with several inmates agree with what Tasha did and they beg Bea to change the panic button rule, but for Tasha she feels extremely threatened.

Later, in the yard, Tasha reveals to Joan Ferguson that she had tried to hang herself the last time she was in prison; Ferguson replies that she can trust anyone and she just has to resist, therefore Tasha, upset, decides to hang herself again in the showers, where she is saved by the Freak herself, who gains Doreen Anderson’s trust. After that, Goodwin is transferred into a psychiatric unit and remains there due to her suicide attempt.
