Simmo is one of Jacs Holt's Hench women in season 1. Along with Roz Jago she delivers a beating to Bea on Jacs' orders after Bea had protested Jacs' plan to have Franky Doyle (Wentworth) ganged. Is seen as Jacs' most trusted gang member, offering to glass Vinnie's new girlfriend. She and Roz turn on Jacs after she is presumed guilty of arranging Debbie Smith's murder, and set up for the murder of Governor Meg Jackson (Wentworth).

In season two Franky thinks she will try to take over from Jacs so Franky tells Boomer to kneecap Simmo but Bea tells Boomer that she doesn't have to listen to Franky and Bea saves Simmo. Simmo's family, including her daughter, is mixed up with the Holts. Bea plants ideas in Simmo's mind that her daughter is at risk from Brayden at the same time The Holts are telling her husband they'll help Simmo get out of prison if Simmo kills Bea. Simmo is a prisoner in Wentworth Correctional Centre. Simone's cause of death was by governor (Joan Ferguson) injecting her with Franky's ever so dodgy stash of drugs called 'Pink Dragon' in a ploy to make her murder look like a suicide as she recently tried to overdose on heroin.

In the episode 3x12 she re-appears as an hallucination of governor Joan Ferguson in the corridor.
