"I'm quiet like a mouse.. And my last name is Trap."

Heather 'Mouse' Trapp was a former inmate of Wentworth Detention Centre.

Heather spent most of her life coming in and out of prison and while she attempted to kick her drug habit multiple times, she failed to stay clean. Heather was involved in Donna Mason's death: being the person who sold her the drugs laced with battery acid.

Heather died in the fire of Wentworth and all the blame for the damage to the prison was placed on her.

Life In Prison[]

Mouse began as a background character, she was first seen with Bea Smith confronting Chrissie Latham after her return from Barnhurst, but they were both stopped by officer Meg Jackson. She was often in storylines involving drugs and although she wasn't a pusher, she was a user - presumably to break up the boredom of prison. She was usually one of the first in line when anyone had drugs.

She was part of the tunnel escape and spent a short time on the run before being captured after she was left behind with the truck by Judy Bryant. While she is on the run she meets a Van Driver who gives her a cup of tea and she then flees to get out of the country but is caught by police and returned to Wentworth.

She later became a drug supplier (technically) as she supplied the needle which killed Donna Mason, and when Bea finds out, she almost attacks Mouse as a result. Mouse was tragically killed during the great fire when she opened a store room cupboard only to have the turpentine stored there explode all over her and Mouse's body is recovered when the fire is put out by the firefighters. In an attempt to save face The Department puts the blame entirely on Mouse and the charges against Bea and Chrissy are dropped.

Trivia[]

  • There is confusion over Mouse's first appearance. She is first credited as Mouse in 106, but appears as early as episode 74. On previous occasions, she was twice called Pauline, and on another occasion given the surname of White. It could be explained that Jentah played a different character called Pauline White before being given the new character Heather "Mouse" Trapp who was different than her previous character in manner of verbal, mental and physical demeanour.
  • An even earlier appearance, around Episode 18 or so, Jentah Sobott appears (look for her in the scene between Acting Governor Vera Bennett and the VJ. Jentah brings in the tea and vanilla slice, but is referred to as "Dwyer"
  • Mouse was 19 years of age when she died according to a radio broadcast in ep 334
