Marge Briggs is a former inmate of Wentworth Detention Centre who was transferred from D block by Joan Ferguson to act as muscle for Sonia. She tries to pick a fight with Helen Smart. She manages to goad Cass into a fight (419). It was mentioned she was in Solitary afterwards. Seen over a year later as a prisoner waiting for her parole decision and mentions Hazel Kent to Judy Bryant to provoke a suitable flashback (534). Despite her bitter comments, Alice Jenkins tells us later that Marge does get parole.
