George Goscombe is the long suffering boyfriend of former Wentworth Detention Centre inmate Hazel Kent. He visits her with their children when the conjugal visits scheme is introduced (188).
They are not married because George's wife is in a mental hospital and he doesn't want to divorce her.
He visits her in (264)-(265) to tell Hazel he is divorcing his wife, but in order to marry his housekeeper rather than Hazel.
He brings her children to see her for the last time in (396), where the characters' surname is given as Coxcombe in the credits.
