Cass Parker was a former prisoner of Wentworth Detention Centre
Cass was a transfer from Barnhurst after the murder of an officer.
Cass was already serving a sentence for manslaughter.
Cass ended up being sent to an asylum after she attacks Dennis.
Time In Prison[]
Jailed for manslaughter and transferred to Wentworth from Barnhurst after killing an officer there. Upon arrival to Wentworth, the officers and the women are surprised that Cass was capable of murder. Cass quickly befriends Lizzie, Pixie and Jude. Although Cass is kind and timid to the other women, she flies into a rage when she is ridiculed, mocked or teased. When Phyllis relentlessly teases Cass, she violently punches her in the face. However, Cass quickly calms down and shows legitimate concern for Phyllis.
Later on, Cass kills David Bridges with a shovel after he tries to attack her in the garden shed (417) and was never quite the same after that.
Subsequently, she was sent to a mental hospital after Bobbie loses her baby, after she learns that Bobbie has lost it she goes after Dennis Cruickshank and strangles him. Dennis asks a guard to get help and when the guard does she comes back with Joan who is asked to open the gate and let him in. When Cass tries to attack him again but he stops her by striking her in the neck, and Cass is seen lying on the floor in a curled up ball. When asked where Cass is by Pixie and Judy, Joan replies that she has been committed to a 'State Institution For the Criminally Insane.' (otherwise Ingleside), Joan walks away and Judy and Pixie both break down for her. (460), and she still appeared in opening mugshots until (462) to keep open the question of whether she could return after her transfer from Ingleside.

- Babs McMillian also played Miss Vaughan: A Divorce counsellor brought in to advise Doreen over the breakup of her marriage to Kevin (174). The character does not appear in the credits, but the actress is unmistakeable.
- Series writer Coral Drouyn cleared up the weapon that Cass used to kill David was in fact a shovel and not an axe.
